White Dragon

- by Ilchi Lee

I am a white dragon
invisible to the eye

I live in the deep ocean
and dwell in hidden in the clouds

My home is nothingness
everywhere and forever

And I hear the music in the starry sky
and sing songs of the soul

I belong nowhere
attached to nothing

Stars sparkle
winds blow quietly
I'm dancing with the stars and winds

I breathe within all life
embracing the wonders of the world

I am everything
I am everyone

I am a white dragon
I'm nowhere and everywhere

I am everything
Just like you

This poem inspired musician Arang Park to put it to music. The song and the poem can be found on the music CD "White Dragon", produced by BEST Life Media.

Principles of Brain Management

"Take Back Your Brain!" author Ilchi Lee often tells his audiences.

But why and how should you take back your brain?

According to Lee's book, Principles of Brain Management: A Practical Approach to Making the Most of Your Brain, your brain decides everything that you are and everything that you will become.

But are you really aware or in control of everything that goes on in your brain? Or is your brain like a rambunctious and willful two-year old that cannot be controlled and won't stop until its exhausted?

If you want your life to go in a particular direction or have certain elements in it, you need to consciously control your brain. But that's not so easy.

To help you, Ilchi Lee wrote Principles of Brain Management. In it he leads you step-by-step through concepts and mind-body exercises that make you see your brain in a whole new light. He gives practical suggestions for taking charge of your brain
and directing it towards your goals.

HEALTH TIPS: The Power to Transform Your Brain
Most people already know that positive thinking is a good thing. But they may not know how much having an overall positive mind can affect every aspect of your physical, mental, emotional, and social health.

You can create a positive mind for yourself by making sure three important influences on your brain are positive: music, message, and action.

1. Music has the power to change our mood and evoke emotion.

2. Message is the information we encounter every day. It forms the structure of our belief systems and influences the quality of our relationships.

3. Actions are the ultimate reflection of what is in our brain. The actions of others as well as of our own actions have even more influence over our brain than just information. As the old adage says, "Actions speak louder than words."

So make sure as you go about your day you pay attention to the music, messages, and actions that surround you and that you put forth into the world. Make sure they reflect what you really want to have in your life.

For instance, if you are feeling a little blue or tired, try putting on a happy song and dancing with a bright smile on your face. Think about all of the positive things in your life and tell yourself, "I'm a beautiful person! Life is good!", or whatever positive affirmation makes you happy.

Pretty soon, your thoughts and emotions will match the music, messages, and actions and you'll be feeling bright and happy.
