The Arizona Book Publishing Association recently announced its 2010 Arizona Book Award Winners. The winners received their Glyph Awards at a gala banquet at Phoenix Country Club on May 1, 2010.

Sedona based BEST Life Media submitted Healing Chakras by Ilchi Lee in three categories for consideration: Psychology/Self-Help; Health/Wellness/Nutrition; and Best Interior Layout/Design. Healing Chakras won the 2010 Arizona Glyph Award for Best Interior Layout/Design and was named as a finalist in the other two award categories.

Now in their eighth year of competition, the Arizona Book Awards help to promote and support quality work created by Arizona authors, produced by Arizona publishers, or written about Arizona and to recognize excellence in craft and creation in the Arizona book industry. Books are judged in 33 subject categories and three design categories, and one Embodying Arizona Award is given for the best book that meets all three of the above categories.

BEST Life Media, has been a member of the Arizona Book Publishers Association since 2008. In 2009, the company received an Arizona Glyph Award for Brain Wave Vibration in the Psychology/Self-Help category and for In Full Bloom, in the Health Wellness/Nutrition category.

The Glyph Award is representative of the earliest written symbols. The highly prized awards were designed by Gilbert sculptor Hugh Littlebury, incorporating two famous Arizona symbols: copper and sandstone. Each award is unique in its texture and color, just like the unique talent and perseverance required to earn this honor. To view all wards winners, visit http://azbookpub.com/onews/aba-2010-winners.
